Destroyed by a fire in 198, the central market of Bouaké is currently undergoing reconstruction by the city. This project is at the same an economic and social challenge for the city and a highly urban matter, because of the many issues it raises: transport and mobilities, density, management of public spaces and management of rain water, requiring the redevelopment of an entire urban sequence linking the market to a nearby stream.
