The expansion of the touristic harbour of La Grande Motte is an opportunity to reorganize the entire port basin and its surrounding public spaces according to a rational and coherent plan. Three promenades are organized around the harbour: the promenade of the docks, sometimes mineral and sometimes showcasing wide thematic gardens. The promenade of the jetties, wide open to the horizon, descending in successive terraces to the water and the beach. The third promenade connects the East and West beaches visually and with an articulated bridge, recreating the continuity of the shoreline which was interrupted by the excavation of the basin.
