Faced with the climate and public health emergencies, it is urgent to reduce the number of vehicles using the expressways located inside the A86 ring road. In order to achieve this: a massive transfer to public transport by express buses on reserved lanes. These expressways and interchanges have great potential for environmental services: their redevelopment will massively revegetate them, male them more porous, and transform these corridors of hot asphalt into cool corridors ventilating Greater Paris.
In addition, these spaces and these fringes to be reconquered must see a multiplication of crossings. They offer in many places very beautiful perspectives on the great metropolitan landscape: they deserve staging, and can accommodate walks, jogging and many other uses, recreational or work related, which will reintegrate these large infrastructures into the wealth of the metropolitan territory.
