The Bry-Villiers-Champigny station ensures the connection between line 15 and MRT line E, and serves a yet to be developed neighbourhood on the border of three municipalities. The station plays a vital role in the «Marne Europe» neigh-bourhood. It will straddle a major block that combines commercial and housing and will create an urban sequence that crosses the existing tracks.
The 20m difference in level between the metro, the MRT platforms and means of access that crosses the tracks, provide the station with a high and large south-opened volume.
The escalator procession in this 3 floors high lobby is guided by a vertical wall that folds into the ceiling to bear the theme of the region: the photographic image, invented by Daguerre who was born in Bry, brought to life by the famous INA studios.
